"All Clubs Under One Roof"
Student Court
Student Court is a group of students who assist Vaughn High School students in managing conflict through Restorative Justice practices. Our objective is to guide in the resolution of problems as well as the discovery of alternatives before involving administration in order to support school personnel and students throughout difficult times. We strive to create a positive school environment by educating students on topics such as racism, sexual orientation, depression, anxiety, as well as other social ramifications that might impacts one's life.
We help students to increase their communication skills by:
Encouraging students to express their feelings without them being judged.
Getting to know students by letting them express their thoughts as long as they are respectful.
Letting students express what they need that will help them support themselves to succeed.

"WE DO WHAT WE CAN IN ORDER TO HELP"
Our motto represents each of our members, for students seeking answers to their problems are helped by our members so that they may make the best possible decisions. We chose this as our motto because we want to show other students that everyone has problems and that no one is perfect. We want to show students that they are not alone, that their problems may be problems others have been through. Our motto was chosen to help people like you and me; we want to make a difference, and instead of dividing our student body, we want to bring our community together to show the world that together we can overcome any barrier regardless of our differences.

Student Court made posters to spread suicide awareness during the month of September, letting other students know that they could seek help if they may have suicidal thoughts, either through Student Court or by calling for professional help.
WE WANT TO HAVE FUN,
WE WANT TO MAKE JUSTICE;
WE ARE STUDENT COURT!
How do activities work in this club?
